COMPREHENSIVE ENDODONTICS

This comprehensive endodontic course is designed specifically for dental professionals seeking to deepen their understanding and enhance their skills in root canal therapy. What will you learn during the session:
- Complete an endodontic diagnosis, including identifying symptoms of non-endo origin including different types of endo-perio lesions.
- Utilize the radiographs to better understand the anatomy of the tooth and position of canals.
- Create ideal access preparations and locating canals without compromising tooth structure.
- Prevent and manage perforations.
- Perform endodontic access cavity on anterior, premolar and molar teeth.
- Touch base with importance of root canal irrigation and medication.
Course Curriculum
Lecture
9.00 a.m. – 10.30 a.m. : Endodontic Diagnosis
10.30 a.m. – 10.45 a.m. : Tea Break
10.45 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. : How to do positioning in taking endodontic radiographs, and how to utilize the radiographs to get optimum information
12.30 p.m. – 2.00 p.m. : Lunch
Hands-On
2.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. :
1. How to create the cavity access and locate the opening of canals on extracted premolar teeth
2. Perform the canal preparation and cleaning and shape effectively
3. The importance of intra-canal irrigation and what to do and what not to do
Lecture
9.00 a.m. – 10.30 a.m. : Endo emergencies and troubleshooting, how do we tackle these cases
10.30 a.m. – 10.45 a.m. : Tea Break
10.45 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. : Access preparation for molar tooth and how to clean and shape and the processes of obturating
12.30 p.m. – 2.00 p.m. : Lunch

1. Cavity access, clean and shape for molar tooth
2. Different ways of obturating a molar tooth and how to ensure success to your endodontic treatment
