Esthetic Adhesive Restorative Dentistry

Protocols for Excellence with Veneers, Onlays, and Partial Restorations in Full Rehabilitations
(26th – 28th march 2026)

Introduction

Modern Esthetic Dentistry
requires a comprehensive approach where diagnosis, planning, and patient communication are central to achieving predictable and durable outcomes. This two-day theoretical seminar will present evidence-based protocols for adhesive partial restorations, covering anterior veneers, posterior indirect restorations (PIAR), and the modern approach to full-mouth adhesive rehabilitations.

Learning Objectives

Day one focuses on aesthetic analysis and the use of Digital Smile Design for precise and predictable planning, supported by emotional mock-ups to improve patient engagement. The session will detail the full workflow for ceramic veneers, including indications, preparation designs (no-prep, minimal-prep, conventional, and the 4 designs according to the Adhesthetics protocol), impression methods, aesthetic try-in, and adhesive cementation, with emphasis on clinical longevity and complication prevention.

Day 2 shifts to posterior indirect adhesive restorations (PIAR), comparing onlays with full crowns, presenting preparation designs according to the Adhesthetics protocol, and reviewing the complete clinical sequence from preparation to cementation. The innovative use of Veneerlays will be introduced as part of functional and aesthetic rehabilitation. The final part of the day will focus on the modern approach to full adhesive rehabilitations, including the selection of restoration types, the role of partial restorations, a step-by-step clinical protocol, management of the provisional phase, and sequencing of treatment. Longevity and prognosis will be discussed to ensure predictable, long-term outcomes.

Day 3 (Saturday, 28th March 2026) - Hands-On

Veneers and Onlays Preparation Course according to the Adhesthetics Protocol

In modern adhesive dentistry, indirect partial restorations have gained an increasingly central role, both for single-tooth treatments and within more extensive rehabilitations. In the past, partial restorations such as posterior onlays or anterior veneers were often considered less reliable in terms of longevity and mechanical resistance. However, advancements in adhesive science, excellence-driven clinical protocols, and the evolution of restorative materials now allow clinicians to provide highly predictable and durable outcomes without necessarily resorting to full-coverage crowns.

Mastering the clinical protocols for the modern indirect partial restorations is essential. This involves knowing the di—erent preparation designs, which can vary according to clinical conditions, objectives, and functional or aesthetic requirements.

Exclusive & Limited Enrolment Hands-On

This hands-on will combine in-depth step-by-step video tutorials with practical exercises. Participants will perform posterior onlay preparations with di—erent designs according to the original Adhesthetics PIAR Protocol, veneer preparations with both regular and minimal prep designs according to Adhesthetics Classification, and will fabricate and use thickness control indexes (T-guides) to ensure precision. This interactive format will enable attendees to refine their techniques and immediately apply these protocols in daily clinical practice with confidence.

PIAR onlay preparation designs – Step-by-step video tutorial
PIAR onlay preparation designs – Practical exercises on simulators according to the Adhesthetics protocol
Fabrication of thickness control indexes (T-guides) – Practical exercises on simulators according to the Adhesthetics protocol
Veneer preparation with regular prep design – Step-by-step video tutorial
Veneer preparation with minimal prep design – Step-by-step video tutorial
Veneer preparation (regular and minimal prep design) – Practical exercises on simulators according to the Adhesthetics protocol
