Introduction
This 2 Days Comprehensive Clinical course is designed for Dental Professionals who want to gain a sound knowledge of, and experience with, Laser-Tissue Interaction. You’ll learn to use Laser Therapy to benefit your Patients’ experiences and outcomes.
Who this course is for?
You must be a registered Dental practitioner or Dental specialist to attend this course. Some experience (theoretical or practical) of using lasers in clinical dentistry is desirable. However, this is not necessary in order for you to benefit from this enhanced level of WCLI-endorsed education.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course you should:
• Have improved your evidence-based core knowledge in Laser use in Dentistry and refined your practical skills
• Have an understanding of Laser Physics, Emission Modes, and how different Laser Wavelengths interact with various target tissues in order to deliver the optimal outcome
• Have an understating of the advantages of Laser Applications in Dentistry in comparison to the conventional method

DR. APOORVA GUPTA
Dr. Apoorva Gupta is a Gold Medalist Periodontist and Oral Implantologist, and one of India’s leading experts in Laser Dentistry and Soft Tissue Grafting. She holds an M.Sc in Laser Dentistry from the University of Barcelona and advanced masterships and fellowships from internationally renowned institutions in the USA and Europe.
She is the first Periodontist in India to integrate Waterlase All Tissue Laser technology into soft tissue periodontal practice. An internationally certified trainer and Key Opinion Leader for BIOLASE MG, Dr. Gupta is also an award-winning clinician, honoured at Famdent (Indian Dental Oscars) and the Guident Acadamicians Awards.
Currently, she maintains a specialist Perio-Laser practice and serves as Senior Consultant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, while mentoring clinicians globally in Periodontics and Laser Dentistry.

• Integration of Lasers into Dental Practice – Clinical and Marketing aspects
• Laser use in the management of Non-keratinised or ‘loose’ soft tissue structures – lining mucosa, frenula, ventral tongue
• Laser use in the management of keratinised or ‘fixed’ soft tissue – gingiva, dorsal tongue
• Lasers in aesthetic dentistry
• Laser-assisted restorative therapy
• Laser use in endodontics – orthograde and retrograde applications.
• The scope of Laser applications in oral pathology
• Erbium Hard Tissue Laser use in hard-tissue management
• Erbium Hard Tissue Laser interaction with dental caries, enamel, dentine, cementum
• Erbium Hard Tissue Laser interaction with alveolar bone.
• Photobiomodulation (Low level laser therapy): understanding the mechanism
• Low-level laser therapy applications in Dentistry
• Dentinal Hypersensitivity and Pain Management
• Management of apthous ulcers, herpes, oral mucositis, red and white lesions, Trismus, TMJ Tenderness.

DAY 2
Speciality based Lectures on : Lasers In Implantology and Lasers in Periodontics.
• Soft tissue and Erbium Lasers in root canal treatments.
• Pulpotomy, pulpectomy and caries management with lasers in pediatric patients.
• Lasers (Soft Tissue and Erbium) in implantology and role of laserassisted therapy in the management of peri-implantitis.
• Laser use in periodontology: an overview of surgical and non-surgical applications
• Multiple-choice examination
• Laser Teeth Whitening: Protocol
• Laser Teeth Whitening v/s Conventional Whitening protocols.
• Incorporating Dental Lasers in Practice and Marketing.
• Live Clinical Case Video Discussions
• Closing ceremony with certification. Practical Session: Hands- on by Participants

RM 500 : Deposit (Immediate Payment)
RM 3,000 : 2nd Payment by 15th May 2026
For this price you’ll receive:
• Associate Fellowship Certification from WCLI, USA (On clearing exam).
• Continuing hours to apply for advanced certification from WCLI, USA
• Study materials and future assistance by faculty
Should there be a need to cancel or withdraw from the course for a valid reason, participants must notify us in writing via email at info@thedentalacademy.com.my at least thirty (30) days prior to the course commencement date.
The following refund terms shall apply:
- More than 30 days prior to course commencement: A refund will be issued in the form of store credit only.
- Less than 30 days prior to course commencement: No refunds will be provided and any amount paid shall be forfeited.
- All fees paid are non-transferable to other courses or participants.
- Any refunds or store credits approved will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of registration, where applicable.
- The management reserves the right to amend or make changes to the course due to unforeseen circumstances.
