COURSE COORDINATOR
Dr Sandra Khong Tai is Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthodontics at the University of British Columbia, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of the Pacific and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr Tai is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the European Board of Aligner Orthodontics. She has been treating aligner cases since 2000 and has treated 6,000+ lifetime cases. Dr Tai is the author of the textbook Clear Aligner Technique, the first edition of which has been translated into 13 languages. The second edition (2025) is a best seller for Quintessence Publishing and has been translated into Japanese and Turkish. She has authored a chapter on Clear Aligner Treatment in the 7th edition of Graber’s Orthodontics (Elsevier 2023). She has also written a chapter for the Moyer’s 58th Craniofacial Growth Series (2022) on Deep Bite Treatment with Clear Aligners. She is a member of the Editorial Board of Seminars in Orthodontics and the Journal of Aligner Orthodontics, as well as the Clinical Advisory Council for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. She is a reviewer for several renowned orthodontic journals and has published numerous research papers on clear aligners. Dr Tai is a much sought after international speaker and lectures globally on clear aligner technique.
Refund Policy
Should there be a need to cancel or withdraw from the course for a valid reason, participants must notify us in writing via email at info@thedentalacademy.com.my at least thirty (30) days prior to the course commencement date.
The following refund terms shall apply:
- More than 30 days prior to course commencement: A refund will be issued in the form of store credit only.
- Less than 30 days prior to course commencement: No refunds will be provided and any amount paid shall be forfeited.
- All fees paid are non-transferable to other courses or participants.
- Any refunds or store credits approved will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of registration, where applicable.
- The management reserves the right to amend or make changes to the course due to unforeseen circumstances.
